Why was SoDA formed? With the digital industry in its infancy, it seems imperative for an association of like-minded and equally independent firms to join forces and propagate best practices, impact the education system to better train new employees entering the workforce, and publicly support the industry for the benefit us all. Is SoDA internationally or nationally focused? Internationally. SoDA represents all digital agencies. What classifies a digital agency? A digital agency is a company whose primary business is digital communications in the marketing and advertising industry. Who are the founding members? SoDA was formed with an original founding membership roster of 13 globally respected digital agencies in March 2007. The founding firms include AgencyNet, Big Spaceship, Domani Studios, Exopolis, Firstborn, iChameleon, IQ Interactive, Juxt Interactive, MindComet, Odopod, Schematic, Struck Design, and WDDG. One year later a second round of members joined the association: 360i, Blitz, GrupoW, Lightmaker, and WhittmanHart. What is Adobe’s relationship? Adobe is SoDA's inaugural launch partner. They have committed to help SoDA's mission by providing advisory expertise, guidance and resources. SoDA will provide Adobe a point of contact for the industry for information, feedback on initiatives and case studies. Is SoDA open for other sponsors? Yes, SoDA is looking for appropriate sponsors and partnerships that can help deliver our platform out to the industry in the most focused and effective ways possible. Who is the Sponsor contact? After the incubation period, SoDA will open the organization to new members. How can I join?
